Meet the Instructors

  • Arleigh T

    I have lived in Hilton Head since 2012, originally from Murrieta, California. Softball was my sport growing up. I was blessed to play Division 1 softball, as an outfielder and catcher, for 4 years at California State University in Long Beach, CA. While at CSULB, I earned a BA in Kinesiology with an emphasis in education.

    Instead of going into teaching at a school, I went straight to training at a gym and I’ve been hooked ever since. I enjoy personal training, small group personal training as well as circuit style classes. I love to help people find what they enjoy doing for health and fitness.

    When I am not working you can find me walking my dogs, indoor cycling, or grocery shopping - I love food!

    Chris will help you achieve your fitness goals in her customized classes. A graduate of Western Michigan University, Chris has been influential in the fitness induced for over 18 years. She has worked as a fitness coordinator for Greenville Hospital Systems where she oversaw the day-to-day operations including cardiac rehabilitation. She holds multiple certifications including group fitness, personal training, TRX and holds her comprehensive Pilates certification through Balanced Body.

    Debbie has been working in the fitness field for over 40 years. Making fitness fun, challenging and safe is her passion. She holds certifications as a certified personal trainer, group fitness instructor, SPIN instructor, and Boot Camp instructor. She is also an expert witness associated with Consulting Engineers and Scientists, Inc. where she is responsible for evaluating personal fitness safety, personal training programs and procedures, exercise programs, training supervision, and training group and SPIN classes. In 1996, Debbie started her own personal training business, Fit For Life.

    I am a Fitness Instructor with over 18 years of experience and a Personal Trainer with 12 years of experience. I teach and am certified in several styles of classes: Yoga, weight classes, abs, cardio, and more. I have been active since I was a little child. I played sports throughout my life, but in high school, my passion became running. I learned the mental power of fitness and was inspired to earn a degree in Sports Psychology at Miami University. I used both fitness and psychology to give birth to 5 amazing children….there is never a boring day in my life! I moved here from Ohio eight years ago and never regret a day of it. To me, HHI is paradise and this community is so full of love. I am blessed to be able to do what I love in such an amazing place.

    Namaste! I’ve taught yoga for over 15 years and have certifications in Hatha, Kundalini, Chair, Therapeutic, and Yoga for Kids/Teens. Creating specialized classes such as ‘Yoga for Golf/Tennis’ inspires me. I love to travel and have lived in Santa Fe, NM… Portland, OR… Seattle, WA… Thailand, India, and Italy. I’ve taught yoga to diverse groups ages 5-95 — ranging from seniors wanting more mobility, strengthening, and balance to HIIT yoga for adults, teen empowerment, and nature-based classes for kids.

    Each of my classes gets customized on the spot. I believe in a non-competitive, inspiring, personalized approach — so everybody wins!

    I have two kids (JT and Aby) who God blessed me with and whom I love immensely.
