All SWEAT Classes are taught by Jen Edwards. All levels are welcome for every class. Modifications are shown for beginners through advanced exercisers. All classes are 60 minutes long. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to get set up and prepared for the workout. All Rec Center-based classes meet in the upstairs fitness room. All Shelter Cove classes meet at the covered pavilion. In the event of temperatures below 45 degrees or inclement weather, class location will be announced no later than 30 minute prior to scheduled class time. SWEAT classes are an additional charge on-top of a reduced month or year rec center membership price. Please come in to the Rec Center to discuss pricing.
Our signature class format, SWEAT Boot Camp combines high-intensity interval training (HIIT), like kickboxing and athletic drills, with strength training drills for a 60-minute total-body workout. Every class is different and will use a variety of equipment. You’ll burn 500-700 calories and spark your metabolism to burn more fat for hours after the workout.
This group session uses a variety of equipment like TRX, medicine balls, battle ropes, punching bags and kettle bells to melt fat, enhance strength, and improve flexibility and balance. Participants travel through a 60-minute circuit of stations designed to sculpt & shred.
This fast-paced, 3 segment workout combines indoor cycling, strength drills and core exercises. You will burn fat, sculpt lean muscle and tone your abs in this hour of low-impact, high-intensity fitness.
Looking for an effective total-body workout with no jumping, running or bouncing? Fat-burning, low-impact cardio is combined with controlled, muscle-toning drills to deliver a big burn without the stress on your joints. We’ll have fun with bands, weights, resistance balls and mat work. Particular focus will be place on exercises to lift your booty and flatten your abs. Perfect for beginners through advances exercisers.
This one hour session takes you out of the studio and into the TRX Training Zone! TRX uses body weight and gravity as resistance to build strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, and core stability. Cardio intervals will be combined with muscle building moves to give you a full body workout that delivers results!
